suup october

hello hello hello!!! dude have i been busy... let's all take a moment and accept the fact that it's october. is it just me, or is that crazy? good crazy though, i mean i guess..
let's take another moment to let me apologize for being m.i.a. but lucky you, my facebook went out earlier and i had a photobooth shoot because i'm so kewwwl. & remember little darlings..

EYEEE

LURVEEE

YOU!!!
apology accepted? shveeet. moving on. i am a bit sleep deprived at the moment because i literally got 2 hours of sleep last night.
this is where i wanted to be all day, and when i was there last night i COULD NOT SLEEP.

oh the wrath of insomnia, it always creeps in when i need sleep the most. but somehow i survived today waking up at 6 am, at school til 6 pm, and running around town til 9.
& i made it back home! turning in all my work, and getting my shit done. sometimes you just got to trick yourself out of tiredness. just pushing through it, and NOT letting the fact that you KNOW how little you slept consume your thoughts.soo yeah thats me as of today. OH yeee... this past weekend was a riot. i've been going out with the people in my class and i'm meeting more people in other sections every day. it's fun walking around campus and actually knowing people.
i don't have any pictures from the weekend tho :( & i wore a really cute outfit that i will have to post sometime... but i do have a picture of my vintage pink floyd t-shirt that is comfy as fuck and i just love it.
i started writing again. ever since i got a blog and got so busy with life i wasn't making time to write. i can't stress to you enough how helpful writing can be for your sanity. even if no one sees it. even if you're in fact really happy- write about it. why not?
but hey it may not be for everyone, because the truth of the matter is i am also someone who has to write down everything i need to do in order for it to get done.
if it's really important i usually write it on my to-do list, in my blackberry calender, on my hand, on a piece of paper that i tape to the wall... uhh sometimes i set alarms. haha i am not kidding. i am really good at memorizing lines, but i am terrible at remembering where i need to be! hahaa that is so sad.

okay, well happy october! i am encouraged with where i am at right now in my life, i hope you are too. just keep on keeping on because your hard work will pay off one day. xo.

kid at heart

HEY, remember to love more. FIGHT HATE.
Okay, just a few more pictures from when my seester was i town!!! I already miss you Al.
We went to Universal Studios on Sunday, and I was in heaven. Not because of the rides, or the candy, or the crazy smazians, but because we were literally laughing the ENTIRE DAY.
We had so much fun, I can't even describe it. Just everything was really funny that day- probably because we would get bored in lines and come up with random topics that led to hilarious conversations...like remembering all the old TV shows that we use to love: Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Recess, Big Comfy Couch, Bananas in Pajamas, Bear in the Big Blue House, Doug... um okay we seriously listed so many more it was ridiculous, but these are the ones i remember lol(below) ali soaked after we swore to melissa that we would NOT get wet on the Jurassic Park ride... hahahah OOPS? ...we also honored the fact that when we were little we would take the head rest of the seats in the car. put them on our heads & sing..."we're sisters (bum bum) we're happy & we're singing & we're wh--ite. give me a high 5!!" (to the beat from a tv song. which i forgot that one too ha fuck)Anyways, it was a really fun day. I kid you not, my abs were sore the next day from laughing so much. i thought i was going to piss myself because we were geeking out so hard. no worries, I have self control. After a fun day sunday, we went to see "Going the Distance" with Drew Barrymore and Justin Long. I was a little disappointed because I was expecting better from my girl Drew B. But it was still really cute! I would recommend it anwyays! The story line is about a long distance relationship, which I thought was cool and not a story you see told that often. I could obviously relate to it. The objectives had high stakes, which inhances the circumstances."Going the Distance" goes to show that true love can work for people who are willing to compromise. It was very touching and also really funny! ... THERE ARE SO MANY MOVIE I WANT TO SEE RIGHT NOW.
ps. Modern Family is the most hilarious show on TV. so please, watch it! it's the type of comedy I like, where the actors are so good at portraying REAL LIFE and real situations that are just funny to see. you want to yell at the screen "OMG I DO THAT WHEN I FEEL AWKWARD TOO!" or whatever the thought is. you get my point?

sparkle sparkle

I took Ali & Melissa to the Roosevelt Hotel the first night they were here. It was really packed and as always a great place for people watching.
We were just partying, ya know being flyy-- and somehow we got into a conversation with this older guy. Kinda creepy, but then it turned 2 am and they were kicking everyone out, bc most clubs/bars close at 2 in LA...anyways, we were not ready to leave. But we were about to head out, and this guy was all "oh not these 3 girls are with me."
Turns out, he was John Mayer's manager. So we got to stay at the bar for after hours with JOHN MAYER and his entourage. hahah, oh hollywood.Saturday we went to lunch at Urth Cafe (my favorite!!) & then we went to Venice Beach for a few hours.
We had the worst experience with traffic I have encountered since living here. We left the beach around 6:30& it took us over 2 hours to get back to Toluca Lake!!!!! Mind you, that is about 20 miles away.... like really?
We each got the evil eye bracelets. I got the black one, which is suppose to keep away negative energy.
Ali got green, which I can't remember what it was for, maybe good fortune? & then Melissa's is pink for emotional healing and romance. I'm going to get the pink one when i go back, I wouldn't mind a lil romance. ha
oh and this picture is real classy, we are at a booth @ Bob's Big Boy.

summa time in the city

skater park at venice beach.
starry night.
soooo, lately every time i go out, i start talking in a british accent to people i don't know. and i have been successful so far. this one guy was like love stricken by me JUST bc of the accent hahaha then i go "con i tell yew a secreat" and he was all oh of course.. and i go "I'M AMERICAN BIATCH." his face just dropped he was like wow, i had no idea. immediately he was more at ease and not trying to be so polite. ohhhh how i wish i was british.
anyways. i'm making some great friends here so far, so i have high hopes. i am on the other hand very aware of fake people, users, or just straight up air heads. i like real people. i like to have great conversations. and to LAUGH.
(below) me and my brother walking at venice beach.
tat tat tat it up. "i am free"
ohhh, below is just me hitch hiking in downtown LA or who knows what i am doing really. oh summer nights in the city & getting home at 4 am.
well well wellllllcome to the good life.

beautiful world

it's a beautiful thing to be happy. i have not been this happy in, well ever? and life just becomes so rich and full. i am so passionate about acting and i love getting up every morning to go to class. during the summer, i just have morning til 1 so i have a lot of free time too... its the BEST way to start my day.after school, i am so refreshed and so in touch with myself. i want to scream around hollywood at people and be like OPEN YOUR EYES LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL. i want to help people feel what they are scared to. be honest with yourself, be sincere, love something.
its all about the tiny details in life, just like the tiny details make scenes in movies... but not many people actually GET that. those actors/actresses that can be completely okay in a scene alone with no dialogue are truly in sync with life. they get it.
so never, ever overlook the small things in life. bc those simple things make you who you are.
experience life. do something new every single day. challenge yourself, strive towards something. if you are not striving towards achieving something, what is you life worth?
you get one life, one body, one soul. what are YOU going to do to make sure you live it right?
anyways enough ranting, im just really inspired lately. nowww-- weekend time. quick nap & then sushi & out in hollywood.
P.S.>>>>> I SAW ASTON KUTCHER LAST NIGHT AT VOYEUR. that made my night! hes so sexy, too bad he's married...
love from the west coast. xxxxx
