Demi Lovato's new single "Skyscraper" was released last night @ midnight. her song is already #1 on itunes. with good reason, she sounds pure and the words are beautiful. i'm anxious to hear more from her new album, i have a feeling i will be able to relate... a lot.

FEARLESS

I've been a Taylor Swift fan from her single "Tim McGraw" I listed to country music a lot more when I was a high school gal in Nashville. But I've steered more towards other genres, with the exception of Swift. She continues to inspire me, and i continue to support her music. she relates to her fans and she lets the whole world read/hear her most personal thoughts. I know I can speak for a large amount of girls out there who have more than a few taylor swift songs that have gotten them through hard times, or a good blast-in-the-car song on the way to school. 

As for me, some of my favorites that remind me of very specific times in my life include: Breathe, Forever & Always, The Way I Loved You, Our Song, You're Not Sorry, and Haunted.... just to name a few. i can probably relate to every single song.

Not only do i love her for her music, but i love her for her personality and outlook on life. she didn't get to where she is today by luck, she worked her ass of for it, which goes to prove anyone can have their dream.

she hasn't been swept away by the hollywood scene and she seems to be one of the most well put together celeb out there. and her motto fearless is to die for. she has become one of the voices of our generation and i see no end to her career any time soon. xxx

passion pit is a really special band to me, because i got into them last year when i was going through some really hard times. it seems like you either love them or hate them, or hate them and love them once you "get" it. 

yes, i love their music. but i love their lyrics even more. often, it's easy to listen to music with actually hearing the message. but i feel like almost every passion pit has a specific meaning in it for me that reminds me of what i have gone through to get to where i am today. i saw them at coachella last year and it was great, but they weren't very known yet so they had a smaller stage and an okay set time.

 so last night was pretty incredible because i saw them live at the Palladium in Hollywood. It was my first time at that venue, which was also cool because it's pretty legendary. we had general admission so we worked our way  very close to the stage and i finally got my full length concert experience.

 they sound AWESOME live, it's like your listening to the recording only better. One of my favorite songs "Little Secrets" was one of the last songs and then they encored with "Sleepyhead." GOOD people & GOOD music. that is what makes me happy.

bum bum bum::: my new band crush is Razorlight. They are an English band & i love their music! Not to mention the lead singer has a bangin body. On the website i use to make my playlists I could only find live versions, so you should really download their tracks!!I personally really like this playlist, so I hope you do too. It's very indie. very good for a night at home, background music while doing homework, or whatever.
